Overview

Application Development Lead (Bigdata & Analytics) Vice President for Citi’s Client Financials portfolio.

What you'll do

• Define and drive a strategic technology architecture roadmap aligned to long-term business outcomes.
• Lead design, development, and scaling of cloud-native data services on AWS.
• Drive migration of legacy data platforms to Databricks with high-performance Spark and PySpark solutions.
• Optimize system performance, capacity, and infrastructure efficiency for data-heavy applications.
• Deliver AI-enabled operational and analytics platforms for advanced insights and predictive capabilities.
• Take end-to-end accountability for solution delivery across the Client Financials portfolio.
• Lead and mentor a team of data and software engineers and drive agile execution across complex analytics engines.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software engineering and applications development experience, including ownership of large-scale application portfolios.
• Experience building, scaling, and optimizing enterprise data services and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Ability to influence technology strategy and build relationships with senior business and technology partners.
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud-native architecture and Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark.
• Proficiency across the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Sqoop).
• Solid exposure to SQL Server and Oracle databases, including query writing for validation and manipulation.
• Skilled with Git and experienced with JIRA and Confluence; familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
