Business Analytics Int Analyst– C11 – Internal Audit Analytics

Overview

Business Analytics (Int Analyst– C11) role in Citi’s Internal Audit Innovation (Analytics Centre of Excellence). You will design and execute audit analytics and automation across the audit lifecycle using AI and analytics technologies.

What you'll do

• Use audit analytics across planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
• Define data needs and design/execute analytics aligned to Citi Internal Audit methodology.
• Develop and run automated routines to focus and enhance audit testing.
• Own selected analytics end-to-end from data sourcing to final insights.
• Automate data gathering, anomaly detection, and audit workflow steps using AI tools.
• Design LLM-based, autonomous analytics pipelines to reduce manual effort and improve audit coverage.
• Support evaluation, piloting, and deployment of AI-driven audit tools.

What you'll need

• 6-8 years of experience as a business or audit analyst providing analytical techniques and automated solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex query writing, performance tuning, and data extraction.
• Proficiency in Python for data wrangling, statistical analysis, automation scripting, and OCR.
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Hive, PySpark, or Apache Spark.
• Excellent analytical ability to understand business processes, risks, and controls to develop audit analytics.
• Strong skills in databases and technical/programming capabilities.
