Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver a cloud-native healthcare data platform using AWS and modern data technologies.

What you'll do

• Deliver complex data engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
• Drive technical execution from design through production deployment.
• Design and implement batch and near-real-time data pipelines.
• Build reusable ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing frameworks.
• Contribute to Apache Iceberg implementation and optimization.
• Implement data quality frameworks and observability/monitoring practices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience contributing to enterprise-scale data initiatives.
• Knowledge of AWS S3, Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.
• Knowledge of IAM and security controls.
• Familiarity with Apache Iceberg (preferred) and tools like dbt and Airflow/Step Functions.
• Skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark/Spark.
