Lead Expert - Data & AI Engineer

Overview

Lead Data Engineer / Associate Manager position in Hyderabad to design and scale enterprise data platforms that support business and scientific innovation.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Provide technical guidance, evaluate project feasibility, and drive engineering best practices.
• Build modular data solutions using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
• Manage data integration and ETL from multiple source systems to enterprise platforms.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance using automated testing and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists, BI developers, stewards, modelers, and business stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 6-8 years of experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines and data platforms.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, dbt, Databricks, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• CI/CD implementation experience.
• Infrastructure-as-code practices experience.
• Proven testing and automation practices with scalable and well-documented solutions.
