Overview
Sr Associate Data Engineer within Amgen’s Global Supply Chain Analytics team, building data/AI-driven solutions focused on customer service use cases.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
- Assist in designing and developing data pipelines.
- Create ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems and ensure data quality.
- Build metric dashboards and self-serve analytics using Tableau or Power BI.
- Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and documentation for accuracy and consistency.
- Use cloud platforms (AWS preferred) to build scalable data solutions.
- Support exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and analytics for insights.
What you'll need
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with a Master’s/Bachelor’s/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Databricks (PySpark, SparkSQL).
- Experience with workflow orchestration and performance tuning on big data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Python/R packages for EDA, feature engineering, and ML model training.
- Proficiency with SQL for data analysis.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python plotting libraries.
- Excellent problem-solving ability with large, complex datasets.
