Snowflake Data Engineer 2

Overview

Design, build, and operate scalable data engineering solutions using Snowflake and AWS, including data pipelines, data models, and cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain Snowflake and AWS data pipelines.
• Build ETL/ELT solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Develop and optimise Snowflake data models, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Ensure data security, governance, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, and Redshift.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with Spark, PySpark, dbt, and Apache Airflow.
• DevOps experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud data architecture.

Nice to have

• SnowPro Certification.
• AWS Certification.
• Experience with Kafka, Databricks, and data governance frameworks.
