Overview

Sr Engineer, Data responsible for building and operating scalable cloud data architectures and end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines across GCP and Snowflake.

What you'll do

• Implement scalable, reliable data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design cloud data warehouse solutions on Snowflake, including dimensional models and security.
• Build and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP services.
• Develop batch and real-time data processing pipelines and streaming/batch ingestion.
• Implement CI/CD for data workflows using Cloud Build and Terraform.
• Design data migration strategies from on-prem/legacy systems to GCP and Snowflake.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience implementing scalable, reliable data architectures on GCP.
• Understanding of data models, warehouse structures, and data lake strategies using BigQuery, Snowflake, and GCS.
• Very strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Strong expertise with Snowflake, including advanced SQL and performance/cost tuning and secure data sharing.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources (structured, semi-structured, unstructured).
• Experience with data validation, monitoring, and quality checks and adherence to governance/security/compliance.
