Python Pyspark Programmer -Assistant Vice President

Overview

Intermediate role focused on establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

What you'll do

• Conduct feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, and IT planning for application work.
• Monitor and control development phases (analysis, design, build, testing, implementation) and provide user/operational support.
• Analyze complex issues using application development expertise and apply evaluative judgment.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis.
• Consult with users/clients and technology groups to recommend advanced programming solutions.
• Act as an advisor/coach to new or lower level analysts and serve as SME to senior stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 7–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Programming skills in Python, PySpark, and PyFlink.
• Big data processing knowledge including Apache Spark/Databricks/Flink/Trino/Starburst.
