Application Engineer - Day Shift

Overview

Application Engineer supporting the implementation and maintenance of software applications, under guidance from senior engineers, product managers, and QA teams.

What you'll do

• Write, test, and maintain code for software applications.
• Assist in building and enhancing front-end and/or back-end components.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality.
• Write basic unit and integration tests for application reliability.
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve application issues.
• Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and processes.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of IT experience implementing front-end and/or back-end systems.
• Basic experience of Java.
• Familiarity with web frameworks (Angular, React, NodeJS, Spring).
• Basic understanding of version control (Git) and Agile practices.
• Exposure to relational databases (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

Details

• Role is primarily office-based.
• Agile practices participation through Scrum.
