Application Support Analyst

Overview

Application Support Analyst responsible for supporting and improving application software and operational processing, including secure coding, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and improve software solutions using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Support secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
• Implement unit testing practices to improve code reliability and readability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and ensure integration.
• Resolve production problems using technical knowledge and precedents.
• Manage end results of team operational processing and activities, including risk/control responsibilities.

What you'll need

• L2/L3 application support experience is required.
• ITIL v3 (or above) foundation certification is required.
• SQL query writing experience for Oracle and MS SQL is required.
• Unix/Linux environment and hosted applications management experience is required.
• Knowledge of server configurations, log management, and shell scripting is required.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and API-based applications is required.
• Monitoring tools experience (ITRS, AppDynamics, Splunk, or Kibana) is required.

• Working pattern: supports Singapore and UK business hours with rotational on-call availability.
