Overview

Manager, Engineering focused on building and leading features for the authentication experience across Workforce and Customer identity environments.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, design, and implement authentication features.
• Own major feature lifecycles from ideation through delivery with focus on alignment, estimations, quality, and security.
• Propose and align on technical strategy.
• Contribute to technical designs, proposals, and architectural decisions.
• Develop maintainable software components with unit/functional tests and participate in code reviews.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years designing/building enterprise-grade software using Java at scale.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise software using Java with Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in object-oriented principles, design patterns, server-side tech, and distributed system concepts (caching, async processing, multi-threading).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting experience on complex Java codebases.
• Solid cloud infrastructure and database experience, with AWS mentioned.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
