Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering Manager to lead development teams building MiQ’s proprietary trading platform and to help architect and roll out the next generation of the platform.

What you'll do

• Lead high-performance technology teams and set an example for delivery.
• Hire and develop engineering leaders and engineers.
• Own and drive business features into technology requirements.
• Partner with Product Managers and customers to align technology choices with business requirements.
• Ensure high-quality, timely releases and product support.
• Contribute to architecture and design of products and APIs.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and efficiency.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience bringing innovative products to market.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience building multi-tier web applications and across the software stack.
• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns.
• Prior experience with microservices-based architectures.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good understanding of NoSQL and distributed systems.
