Application Support Engineer – Windows, PowerShell & SQL Server

Overview

L3 Application Support & Development Analyst supporting enterprise and business-critical applications in Windows environments, using PowerShell automation for operational improvements.

What you'll do

• Provide Level 3 support for enterprise and business-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot complex application, middleware, server, and database issues.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for monitoring, deployment, testing, and operational automation.
• Monitor application health and identify risks before they impact business operations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support deployments, upgrades, patching, and release activities.
• Participate in major incident, on-call, problem, and change management processes.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years of experience in application and production support.
• 8+ years of application or production support experience.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and/or 2022.
• SQL knowledge for querying and troubleshooting.
• Experience with IIS administration.
• Skills in Windows Services, Active Directory, Task Scheduler, and Event Viewer.

• Based in Pune; requires working from the office three days per week.
