Overview
Systems Engineer responsible for evaluating, designing, installing, implementing, configuring, upgrading, and optimizing infrastructure systems for internal and client-facing applications.
What you'll do
- Manage, maintain, monitor, and support the infrastructure environment in an assigned technology domain.
- Install, configure, and support required hardware and software to operate assigned technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across hardware, software, operating systems, and application-related areas.
- Conduct performance monitoring, systems health checks, and capacity planning.
- Standardize and automate processes and monitoring using scripting technology and follow change management procedures.
- Provide technical ownership in project meetings and drive tasks to successful completion.
- Prepare technical documentation and system design documentation.
What you'll need
- 4-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Administer Microsoft Windows Server 2016+ environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows networking.
- Manage certificate services including SSL/TLS implementation and renewal processes.
- Handle application publishing, installation, and configuration across multiple environments.
- Provide system support for both cloud-hosted and on-premises infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to critical issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for deployments and support procedures.
