Senior Engineer, Technical Support, Public Cloud

Overview

Senior Engineer, Technical Support for public cloud data protection, providing technical support and troubleshooting for Veeam clients.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support and in-depth troubleshooting for B2B clients via telephone, email, and web conferencing.
• Serve as a technical focal point with fellow IT professionals.
• Research and troubleshoot customer problems and inquiries.
• Update and manage assigned cases in a timely manner.
• Contribute to documentation and build the knowledge base.
• Work with accurate customer interaction documentation within SLA in the CRM tool.
• Stay up to date with latest technologies related to Veeam products and underlying technologies.

What you'll need

• Fluent English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Previous troubleshooting/administration experience is required.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure (VMs, blob storage; roles, regions, security groups, etc.).
• Expertise in Amazon AWS (S3, EC2; roles, regions, security groups, etc.).
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (VMs, blob storage, VPC network, regions, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL (SQL Studio, simple queries), Microsoft Windows Server administration, and Linux administration.
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, tools) and backups concepts/solutions.
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and explain technical information.
• Ability and desire to take ownership of client issues through resolution.
• Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
