Engineer -VMware and Storage

Overview

Engineer role focused on operating and supporting storage infrastructure and Linux OS while ensuring ITIL-aligned service and customer issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Operate, administer, and consult on storage infrastructure and Linux OS per ITIL standards.
• Deliver lifecycle support including planning, installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and de-installation.
• Manage customer, vendor, and subcontractor technical/service relationships.
• Resolve customer issues via phone, email, or remote sessions and reproduce issues in-house.
• Maintain SLA compliance, case documentation quality, and operational metrics.
• Lead incident management and drive problem management with root-cause and trend analysis.
• Prepare, review, implement, rollback, and test change records and participate in CAB.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (or equivalent) plus 6–7 years in storage administration.
• Strong knowledge of object, file, and block storage.
• Expertise in SAN/NAS technologies: Ethernet/iSCSI, FC, and FCoE.
• Hands-on experience with HPE storage systems: Alletra 6000, Alletra MP, Nimble, 3PAR, Primera, and MSA.
• Firmware and management experience on storage & servers.
• Linux OS (RHEL/SUSE) install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot.
• Strong written and verbal communication (mandatory).

• Hybrid work setup with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
• Flexible for 24x7 rotational shifts and weekends.
