Overview
Optiv Security Operations is seeking a security engineer to administer, maintain, and support privileged access and identity governance solutions for clients, including BeyondTrust technologies and associated back-end infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Serve as a primary technical responder for incidents and requests pertaining to BeyondTrust Password Safe, BeyondTrust Privileged Remote Access, BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management, and other technologies.
- Perform discovery audits and work with clients to develop certification and compliance campaigns and reporting.
- Collect logs, analyze failure situations, troubleshoot issues, and implement known solutions while maintaining established OLAs/SLAs.
- Document incident resolutions, RCA/RFOs, and SOPs, design specifications, and reference architectures as needed.
- Perform routine changes and maintenance, including hotfix and security patching, device reboots, and configuration backups.
What you'll need
- Strong troubleshooting and issue isolation skills.
- 3-5 years’ experience implementing, administering, and supporting privileged access management technologies and related infrastructure.
- 3-5 years’ experience.
- Proficiency in BeyondTrust and related technologies.
- Experience in system administration, scripting, REST API, LDAP directories, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Privileged Access Management architecture.
- 2-4 years’ experience administering Active Directory objects, architecture, and back-end infrastructure.
- 2-4 years’ experience remotely administering both Windows Server OS and Unix/Linux-based systems from a command line interface.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and analyzing data, including analyzing error logs.
- Familiarity with applicable scripting languages, including Postman, PowerShell, BeanShell, JavaScript, and Python.
- Must possess BeyondTrust Engineer Password Safe certifications on hire.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- English fluency required.
Nice to have
- BeyondTrust experience is preferred.
- MCSE and/or MS Azure certifications are a plus.
- Relevant industry certifications are highly desired, such as CISSP, CEH, CHFI, SSCP, and CCSP.
- ITIL certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience or familiarity with a NOC/SOC-type working environment is highly desired.
Details
- The position is on-site at the Bangalore office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- The role supports Optiv’s clients in accordance with established SLA/OLA guidelines.
