Trainee Engineer - Vendor/Contract Management

Overview

Trainee Engineer (Vendor / Contract Management) responsible for managing vendor relationships and overseeing the end-to-end contract lifecycle to ensure compliance, acting as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers.

What you'll do

• Manage contract renewals, track contract expiry dates, maintain contract repositories report and ensure timely renewals.
• Monitor vendor contract terms and update and maintain the contract inventory database.
• Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in SAP for different regions.
• Follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders for quotations, invoices, and support requests.
• Schedule meetings and document Minutes of Meeting (MoM).
• Create and manage tickets, tasks, and service requests in Matrix42 and update software and asset inventory records using Matrix42.
• Create and update SOPs, process documents, and knowledge-based articles.
• Support procurement activities, ensure compliance requirements are met, and drive requests to timely closure.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or vendor management, or a related field.
• Contract and vendor management.
• SAP PR creation.
• MS Excel and reporting.
• Documentation and record management.
• Communication and stakeholder coordination.
• Attention to detail and follow-up management.
• Basic procurement and asset management knowledge.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Software or engineering license knowledge.
