Service Engineer - SCADA

Overview

Service Engineer - SCADA will own software system integration for large IT projects related to electrical grid transmission, distribution, and market management, across the full project lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications.
• Customize software solutions based on requirements.
• Install and configure databases for integrated solutions.
• Implement systems and perform acceptance tests with customers on site.
• Run integration testing to identify configuration issues vs product defects.
• Support the design team for AEMS/ADMS systems.

What you'll need

• Communicate effectively and collaborate with implementation services teams and customers.
• Have a Master’s or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college (or a high school diploma with proven services experience).
• Know Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and/or RHEL 7/8 configuration and administration.
• Have basic knowledge of software integration, development, testing, and commissioning.
• Develop scripting using PowerShell/Perl/Python/batch/bash.
• Troubleshoot software solutions and work with relational databases (SQLServer/Oracle).
• Be fluent in English and be willing to travel.
