Cloud Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for Experian’s Cloud Engineering team, focused on designing, operating, and continuously improving cloud platform reliability.

What you'll do

• Design and implement secure, highly available cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure lifecycle processes.
• Automate operational activities and develop self-healing and automated remediation.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes, including release automation.
• Implement observability (dashboards, metrics, monitoring, logging, alerting) and improve performance.
• Collaborate across architecture, security, networking, and infrastructure teams to reduce risk and improve service reliability.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• 3+ years of experience with Linux and/or Windows Server administration.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization/capacity management.
