Applications Developer

Overview

Intermediate Applications Developer/Programmer Analyst role focused on analyzing and programming application systems, including enhancements, testing, and security checks.

What you'll do

• Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs.
• Identify and define system enhancements using script tools and code analysis.
• Consult users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
• Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues, and perform testing and debugging.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
• Identify problems, recommend and implement solutions, and resolve issues with guided precedents.

What you'll need

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.
• Intermediate level experience in an Applications Development role.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
• Bachelor’s degree/university degree or equivalent experience.
