Overview
Applied AI Technical Evangelist for Anthropic’s Startups team—driving awareness and activation among startup founders and technical teams for Claude.
What you’ll do
- Run hands-on developer sessions at startup ecosystem events to help teams move from first API call to committed adoption.
- Design and deliver build-a-thons, technical office hours, and workshops at VC and accelerator events.
- Build a repeatable playbook that turns ecosystem touchpoints into measurable developer sign-ups and active usage.
- Create production-quality technical resources such as code samples, reference architectures, tutorial repos, and blog posts.
- Develop live demos and prototypes showcasing Claude for common startup use cases.
- Lead technical tracks at builder summits and startup activations, emphasizing live coding.
- Own success metrics for developer activation, net new logos, and ecosystem engagement; scale what works.
What you’ll need
- 7+ years of experience across founding, building, and technical roles.
- Ability to write production-quality code and build live demos for a technical audience.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and shipping AI-powered products.
- Experience turning ecosystem relationships (VCs, accelerators, or developer communities) into measurable developer adoption.
- Ability to travel regularly and work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Minimum education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training/experience mix.
Details
- Annual salary range: $240,000–$315,000 USD.
- Work mode: hybrid; staff expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
- Visa sponsorship: sponsored, with reasonable efforts if an offer is made.
