About the Job
Artificial Intelligence Engineer Intern (Internship) — Remote. In this role, you’ll build and experiment with practical AI solutions that leverage LLM models and modern machine learning techniques. You’ll work alongside mentors to turn ideas into working prototypes—ranging from prompt-driven applications to end-to-end workflows in Python. This internship is designed for learners who enjoy solving real-world problems with data, models, and thoughtful engineering, while gaining hands-on experience in deploying AI features that can meaningfully support users.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, test, and iterate on LLM-powered features and applications using prompt strategies and evaluation methods.
- Build prototypes in Python, integrating models with lightweight services or data pipelines.
- Develop and refine prompts through Prompt Engineering & Writing to improve accuracy, consistency, and user experience.
- Apply Machine Learning principles to model selection, experimentation, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with the team to translate product requirements into technical tasks and measurable outcomes.
- Document your work clearly—assumptions, results, and learnings—so others can reproduce and extend your solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying failure cases and proposing mitigation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and practical understanding of model behavior.
- Working knowledge of LLM Models and Applications, including prompt-based workflows and basic evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python for experimentation, data handling, and building AI prototypes.
- Ability to write and optimize prompts with clear structure, intent, and constraints (Prompt Engineering & Writing).
- Understanding of Machine Learning workflows—training concepts, metrics, and experimentation best practices.
- Comfort collaborating remotely and contributing to shared documentation and iterative development.
