Associate accountant

Overview

Associate Accountant to support corporate accounting and global financial reporting, including month-end close, reconciliations, and policy-compliant accounting activities.

What you'll do

• Execute month-end accounting activities, including accruals and fixed assets accounting.
• Perform account reconciliations and support balance sheet account analysis.
• Support revenue recognition, overhead accounting, and master data management.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis and reporting.
• Maintain documentation and files in line with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits and adhere to SoX/business controls.
• Support general business operations with data entry, reporting, correspondence, and basic analysis.

What you'll need

• Recognized professional qualification (CA/CWA/ACCA or CIMA) and 1+ years relevant work experience, or freshers/semi-qualified.
• Alternatively, commerce undergraduate or postgraduate degree with 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge including month-end closing, full set of accounts support, and reconciliations.
• Ability to handle a range of accounting areas including GL reconciliation, AR, cash application, AP, project accounting, billing, tax, or corporate accounting.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Professional English written and good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who can build relationships with global stakeholders.
