Associate Accountant

Overview

Associate Accountant responsible for accurate, on-time employee time entry in customer portals and for reconciling billed labor charges between customer portals and Deltek Costpoint.

What you'll do

• Enter employee labor hours into customer-specific timekeeping portals on schedule.
• Verify employee time records against internal timesheets, project assignments, and labor categories.
• Monitor time entry deadlines and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Maintain documentation supporting submitted labor hours and timekeeping adjustments/corrections.
• Reconcile billed labor and related charges between customer portals and Deltek Costpoint.
• Review customer portal billing data for consistency with Costpoint project, labor, and billing records.
• Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies and prepare reconciliation reports for invoice validation and audits.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience in a time entry or finance role (preferably in a corporate environment).
• Administrative data entry experience.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and customer billing portals.
• Experience reconciling data in Excel.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
