Associate ATE System Engineer

Overview

Associate ATE System Engineer responsible for developing automated test software, system testing and verification, and calibration solutions for aerospace and avionics systems.

What you'll do

• Develop validation plans, Acceptance Test Procedures and requirements traceability.
• Develop automated test solutions for calibration processes.
• Analyze test requirements, instruments and communication needs.
• Perform hardware-software integration, system integration, testing, builds and deployment.
• Produce documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
• Maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners.
• Contribute to processes, tools, metrics and lean-process improvements.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science or a directly related field.
• Typically 4 years of related work experience, or an equivalent education and experience combination.
• Knowledge of avionics architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs.
• Hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real Time and LabVIEW FPGA.
• Experience using Python, C, C# or VB for instrument communication.
• Experience with hardware/software integration and automated test equipment.
• Knowledge of measurement equipment and communication protocols including RS422/RS232, TCP/IP, Ethernet, UDP and avionics protocols.

Nice to have

• Experience with plant model creation.
• Experience with avionics or aerospace programs.
• Awareness of AS9100, ISO9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
• Experience managing software repositories and continuous integration/deployment.
