Overview
Associate Cloud Operations Engineer on the CloudOps team running operational platforms on Azure Public and Azure Government Cloud. The role is hands-on, high-stakes operations with on-call coverage.
What you'll do
- Deploy and validate application environments.
- Execute releases and manage changes with discipline.
- Operate core Azure production services (VMs, App Services, Storage, Azure SQL, networking, IAM, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics).
- Maintain platform reliability via patching, scaling, backups, and DR validation.
- Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis, and write runbooks.
- Build automation to reduce toil using PowerShell, Bash, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in 24×7 on-call rotations.
What you'll need
- 1-3 years operating Azure in production, ideally including Azure Government Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Azure compute, storage, networking, App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Monitor.
- Windows and/or Linux server administration experience.
- Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Shell.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with ITIL incident, change, and problem management.
- Experience with troubleshooting across infrastructure, OS, network, and application layers.

- Work follows a hybrid model: 2 days in office and 3 days remote each week.
