Overview
The Associate Director will modernize commercial performance analytics by delivering enterprise BI/analytics solutions and enabling AI-driven, conversational, proactive decision support.
What you'll do
- Define and execute a future-state strategy for commercial performance analytics from static dashboards to AI-augmented insights.
- Design and deliver enterprise-grade reporting and analytics products using Power BI/Angular and semantic models.
- Architect analytics solutions on modern platforms including Databricks and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
- Develop advanced performance analytics for sales, forecast vs actual, and campaign/promotional measurement, including root-cause analysis frameworks.
- Lead GenAI-powered conversational analytics using enterprise architectures such as Azure OpenAI/OpenAI/Vertex AI with RAG.
- Design agent-based analytics and intelligent automation for anomaly detection, insight narratives, alerts, and recurring workflow automation.
- Provide executive-level insight storytelling and advise senior commercial stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of experience in commercial performance and advanced analytics/reporting/GenAI.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and analytics engineering.
- Advanced expertise in Power BI/Angular including optimized DAX and enterprise semantic models.
- Deep experience with Databricks/Dataiku and Lakehouse concepts (Spark, Delta Lake).
- Experience with orchestration tools such as dbt and/or Airflow/cloud-native pipelines.
- Strong data governance, security, and compliance mindset.
- Strong understanding of commercial performance data domains (sales, marketing, field activity).
