Associate Financial controller

Overview

The Associate Finance Controller (ATR) manages accounting and reporting processes within the General Ledger Controlling organization, ensuring IFRS and group guideline compliance, accurate month-end closing, reconciliations, tax and audit requirements, and serving as the first point of contact for ATR-related queries.

What you'll do

• Perform month-end accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and accruals in SAP, OneStream, and related tools.
• Ensure accurate GL, cost centre, and internal order accounting; manage fixed assets, depreciation, and tax requirements.
• Support statutory audits, respond to auditor queries, and maintain compliance with RICC control framework.
• Liaise with finance teams, managers, and stakeholders to provide timely updates and explanations.
• Participate in ATR automation initiatives and process improvement projects.

What you'll need

• Strong financial background.
• 3–7 years of experience in accounting, book closing, and reporting.
• Proficiency in SAP and cost centre/internal order setup.
• Analytical, structured, and proactive working style.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and manage high workloads.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

• Shipping/transportation industry experience.
