Associate Software Engineer

Overview

Associate Software Engineer on the Globalscape team, designing, building and deploying modern software solutions that expand the core platform's capabilities, working alongside seasoned developers.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and implement clean, high-performing software applications in accordance with coding standards and technical designs.
• Contribute to technical solution development roadmaps, business use cases, and platform evolution initiatives.
• Identify and resolve technical gaps to ensure software solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Partner closely with team members and engineering management, communicating regularly to maintain alignment and share best practices.

What you'll need

• Foundational software engineering experience or coursework developing and testing applications in an agile IT environment.
• Strong knowledge of core programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, Python, Java, Spring (Core, MVC, JDBC), and Hibernate or JPA.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, database scripting, web services (REST, SOAP), and frontend technologies like AngularJS, XML, or JSON.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
• Bachelor's Engineering degree in CS, IS, IT, ECE, or equivalent.
