Associate Software Engineer

Overview

Under general guidance, develop and execute test plans and scripts to confirm the quality and success of technologies, including manual and automated testing of applications and web resources.

What you'll do

• Understand and review requirements.
• Create test plans or contribute to test estimation, planning and strategy.
• Perform test planning, test case authoring and execution for compliance products’ client implementation projects.
• Execute test iterations, track defects, report test results, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with the team on defect resolution.
• Work closely with Developers, Tech leads/managers, BA/Consultant and other project stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Coordinate with BA and development teams to resolve roadblocks and issues.
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Run test scripts and identify scope for areas of automation to improve process efficiency.
• Discuss and flag challenges, risks and mitigation plans with the Manager and seek necessary support.
• Ensure systems perform adequately on deployed platforms.

What you'll need

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years related experience in quality assurance and testing.
• At least 2+ years of experience in testing web-application projects.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodologies like Scrum.
