Associate Specialist - Quality Engineering (Veeva Platform)

Overview

Quality Engineer supporting quality assurance activities across enterprise applications, with a focus on the Veeva platform, translating business requirements into test scenarios and scripts and ensuring high-quality, regulation-compliant solutions.

What you'll do

• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and convert them into comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test assets.
• Perform end-to-end testing across applications, integrations, and business processes.
• Validate functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, usability, security, and reliability considerations.
• Support testing activities related to Veeva platform configurations, workflows, security models, and integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business stakeholders, and delivery leads to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness activities.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test execution reports, and quality metrics.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business validation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC, validation, and quality standards in regulated environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Testing, or Quality Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
• Hands-on experience with defect management and test management tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and globally distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Veeva Vault, including configuration and validation testing.
• Understanding of life sciences, pharmaceutical, regulatory, clinical, quality, or R&D business processes.
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, and data flows between enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of GxP, CSV (Computer System Validation), and regulated environments.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and automated testing tools.
• Experience supporting cloud-based SaaS platforms.
