Associate Technical Lead, HPC Software

Overview

Associate Technical Lead role for HPC software within KLA’s Surfscan group, focused on complex software design, risk mitigation, and technical assessment for product requirements.

What you'll do

• Make design and architectural improvements to existing software.
• Work complex problems requiring in-depth analysis of situations or data.
• Ensure designs, code, and unit tests are robust, future-proof, and scalable.
• Identify, highlight, review, and mitigate technical risks with the Technical Manager.
• Interact with staff and project management across business and technical areas.
• Provide technical expertise for estimation input into project plans.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 to 12 years of software development experience.
• Strong academics in BE/BTech/MTech/MCA/MS (CS/IT).
• Experience with OO analysis, design, development, and unit testing.
• Strong programming fundamentals in C++, STL, and Boost.
• Hands-on experience measuring and optimizing application performance (e.g., assembly, vectorization, SSE, Intel IPP).
• Knowledge of Linux shell scripting and strong Linux OS fundamentals.

• Travel: willing to travel to the US and other customer places on short assignments.
