Overview

Auto Adjuster Tec Consultant I at Allstate India, responsible for providing customer service to customers whose vehicles need repair, inspecting damage, writing estimates, completing total loss valuations and negotiating moderately complex and occasionally complex settlements, under limited supervision.

What you'll do

• Virtually or physically inspect damage to vehicles (including automobiles, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and recreational vehicles)
• Write damage repair estimates and complete total loss valuations
• Negotiate and settle moderately complex and occasionally complex claims in accordance with business unit best practices
• Negotiate with repair facilities, tow yards and customers, and estimate repair times for rental/loss of use
• Respond to moderately complex and occasionally complex arbitration contentions
• Investigate moderately complex or occasionally complex files, review damage, take photos, and determine reparability or total loss
• Work the Triage Tool and partner with the Good Hands Repair Network for vehicles that may be potential total losses, determining reparability and whether repairs can be settled rapidly
• Document claim files with notes, evaluations and decision-making process, and summarize documents into claim system notes
• Initiate payments (QCP, Fast Mobile Epay, etc.) and pay appropriate parties
• Triage moderately complex and occasionally complex total loss claims
• Evaluate diminished value in moderately complex or occasionally complex claims
• Prepare damage estimates or valuations for moderately complex or occasionally complex claims and locate parts

What you'll need

• 4 year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu

• 4 year Bachelor's Degree
• 2 or more years of experience
