Overview
As an AWS - Manager, you will lead infrastructure engineering work focused on designing and implementing scalable cloud and technology solutions for clients within the Technology Consulting practice. You will guide teams, coach junior professionals, manage workstreams, and balance project priorities, timelines, and quality expectations while addressing client needs and navigating complex technical issues.
What you'll do
- Lead AWS infrastructure engineering workstreams across cloud deployment, migration, and modernization initiatives.
- Manage project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery timelines for client technology engagements.
- Direct teams in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud architectures, network reliability, and server environments.
- Review system design, configuration, and operational readiness across hybrid cloud, IAM, and virtualization solutions.
- Coach team members on platform engineering, IT operations, and troubleshooting methods across complex infrastructure environments.
- Analyze infrastructure dependencies, performance trends, and service issues to identify improvement opportunities.
- Guide adoption of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and digital tooling to support scalable delivery models.
- Validate alignment to cloud compliance, disaster recovery, business continuity, and service support requirements.
What you'll need
- At least a Bachelor's degree.
- At least 9+ years of experience.
- Oral and written proficiency in English.
- AWS core services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, WAF, and Bedrock.
- Solution architecture design.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK.
- Containers and orchestration: ECS, EKS, and Docker.
- Serverless architecture: Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
- Programming and development: Python, Java, and Node.js.
- Strong communication skills and acumen to address critical client business situations.
Nice to have
- Managing AWS infrastructure programs across client engagements.
- Leveraging Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Directing cloud migration, CI/CD, and infrastructure optimization work.
- Mentoring teams in platform engineering and architecture delivery.
- Coordinating system troubleshooting, disaster recovery, and monitoring activities.
- Applying IAM, server administration, and hybrid cloud skills.
