What you'll do

• Develop innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
• Design, code, and test applications to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Use Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and CI/CD methodologies to improve software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address client needs through software engineering
• Implement microservices and enterprise application integration to optimize system performance
• Conduct code reviews and adhere to coding standards to maintain software integrity
• Manage application lifecycle and software project planning to meet project timelines
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional software designs
• Leverage programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript to develop robust applications
• Engage in quality assurance testing and debugging to resolve software issues
• Build meaningful client connections and anticipate their needs to deliver tailored solutions

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in modernization or transformation
• Strong proficiency in microservices architecture design and implementation
• Hands-on experience with monolith decomposition (strangler fig, branch-by-abstraction) and database separation
• Strong backend development skills with Java, Python, Node.js, or equivalent
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs on Lambda using SAM and API Gateway
• Experience with event-driven architectures (SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions)
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS, Fargate)
• Understanding of database modernization patterns, DMS, and SCT
• Familiarity with service discovery (Cloud Map) and service mesh (App Mesh) concepts
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical decisions
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Practices

• Managing API integrations and microservices architecture for client applications
• Excelling in business requirements analysis and process improvement strategies
• Navigating complex client relationships with effective communication and analytical thinking
• Demonstrating proficiency in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices
