BA4 - Research Operations

Overview

Manage the centralized processing and standardization of broker vote data for the Research business, supporting Research sales, client strategy and monetization analysis across the Americas and European client base.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of centralized broker vote processing, including analyzing broker vote data, standardizing it, capturing information and coordinating with sales.
• Capture broker vote data from various client formats into a pre-defined structure using a web-based portal, working closely with Research business managers.
• Ensure accuracy of data in the portal as per predefined agreement per client.
• Work on ad-hoc requests related to broker votes.
• Support Research Sales and Client Strategy with key insights on votes and client consumption.
• Deliver and maintain interactive tools and dashboards using Business Objects and MS Excel.
• Drive delivery of key reports and provide business/monetization analysis for multiple stakeholders in Research.
• Leverage data, analytics and feedback to understand clients and the competitive landscape, and monitor and decide where to allocate resources.
• Manage, continually improve and execute the Research content monetization processes and agenda.
• Identify and drive changes to systems and processes to continually improve delivery to internal stakeholders and Clients.
• Adhere to the highest standards of risk management and controls, identifying potential risks and helping to develop mitigation strategies.
• Interact with stakeholders across Research regions and time zones, ensuring capture is completed in a timely fashion on an ongoing basis.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's/master's degree with at least 2-4 years of experience working in a data intensive process and hands-on reporting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a time sensitive environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong interest in the subject matter.
• Resourcefulness and proactive attitude.
• Proficient in MS Excel using Macros and MS Office applications, with knowledge of lookups, functions and basic reporting in Excel.
• Ability to work during UK business hours.
• Excellent analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of votes, with the ability to make decisions to standardize information and resolve queries from team members.

Nice to have

• Ability to quickly grasp concepts and implement them.
• Report development using SAP Business Objects.
• Basic understanding of financial terms and the research business.
• In-depth understanding of the broker vote process within a research environment.
