Back End Developer (Python Scripting,RDBMS ,Linux,SQL,ETL ) - Pune

Overview

Back End Developer (Software Engineer Backend) responsible for designing and developing backend systems for Tax Information Reporting Suite (TIRS) and Core Services.

What you'll do

• Participate in release and sprint planning with stakeholders on scope and priorities.
• Design, develop, and enhance backend components and services.
• Write and maintain unit tests to support code quality and reliability.
• Debug production and non-production issues and deliver timely fixes.
• Develop and enhance SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Communicate progress, risks, and challenges with the team.

What you'll need

• 3-6 years of hands-on backend development experience using Python and/or Perl scripting.
• Strong relational database experience and advanced SQL.
• Ability to debug and optimize complex stored procedures and SQL logic.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Working knowledge of design patterns and clean code practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
