Back End Software Developer

Overview

Back End Software Developer (Senior Associate Software Development Engineer) supporting the design, development, and testing of software systems, modules, and applications, including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

What you'll do

• Design and develop solutions and functionality to support software enhancements and new products.
• Write and test code, including refactoring and debugging large-scale distributed systems.
• Support automated testing execution and contribute to code reviews.
• Participate in software deployment with stakeholders and support delivery of software components.
• Develop functionality in micro-services environments using APIs, telemetry data, and ML/AI algorithm execution across structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate and build solutions through automation and coding using third-party software.
• Maintain technical program artifacts such as end-user documentation and operational procedures.

What you'll need

• Developing understanding of cloud architecture and services in multiple public clouds such as AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, and Office 365.
• Subject matter expertise in programming languages including C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Node.js.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design with analytical and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of microservices-based software architecture and experience with API product development.
• Expertise with SQL and no-SQL data stores including Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Understanding of container runtimes such as Kubernetes, Docker, and LXC/LXD.
• Proficiency with agile/lean practices and test-driven development, plus CI/CD concepts and tools.
