Back-End Software Engineer - Core Java

Overview

Back-end Software Engineer (Core Java) to design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable, reliable, and secure microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical brainstorming.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvements.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and observability best practices.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience in backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8+ and Spring Framework/Spring Boot.
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and multithreading.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT (or related) or MCA (Computer Science/Application).

Nice to have

• Experience with message queues like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with API gateways and service discovery.
• Understanding of caching technologies (Redis, Hazelcast).
• Exposure to performance and load testing.
