Banking app support engineer

Overview

Application Support engineer providing L2 support for banking applications and resolving production issues for services such as AML, lending, internet/mobile banking, payments, and related government schemes.

What you'll do

• Provide L2 application support for retail banking applications (shift based).
• Analyze, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Monitor applications and check logs to investigate incidents.
• Handle incident management and drive resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Fine-tune systems where needed and identify automation scope.
• Use scripting and automation skills for operational improvements.

What you'll need

• 4 to 8 years of experience providing L2 application support for retail banking applications.
• Experience supporting banking applications including AML, ADV, lending, internet banking, mobile banking, payments, and CRM.
• Knowledge of India-specific banking domain requirements.
• Working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and Integration.
• Strong technical skills in SQL, Linux, Oracle, IIS, Devops, and API.
• Troubleshooting experience including application monitoring and log checking.
• Ability to use incident management & resolution practices.
