BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

BestDrive Service Technician repairs and services Commercial Vehicle and Medium Truck tires, including off-the-road equipment tires, following established safety and work procedures.

What you'll do

• Mount, dismount, and install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires by inspecting conditions and determining repairable issues.
• Review work orders with supervisors and discuss service details.
• Document work performed accurately according to company policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools (e.g., boom cranes, jacks, compressors, electric and hydraulic equipment).
• Perform emergency road service calls on a rotating nights/weekends basis.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and management (verbal and written).
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.

Details

• Work hours generally 7-5 Monday–Friday, with Saturday and evenings as needed.
• Exposure to heat and cold is expected due to indoor and outdoor work environments.
• Regularly stand, bend, climb, lift, and walk; lift 75–100 lbs routinely and up to 150 lbs occasionally.
