Overview

Business Analytics Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role supporting solutions and implementations within the Decision Management job family.

What you'll do

• Assist with solutions and implementations
• Perform relatively complex and varied assignments
• Demonstrate technical and administrative expertise
• Apply specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge, including underlying professional and technical principles or standards
• Make evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information
• Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, guided by precedents
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, with particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
• Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhere to Policy, and apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
• Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency
• Perform other job-related duties as required

What you'll need

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
• Previous relevant experience
• Good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems used in carrying out assigned tasks
• Basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based
• Basic knowledge of the organization and its policies
• Ability to problem solve
• Customer service skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to exchange information in a concise way and be sensitive to audience diversity
