Business Process Architect

Overview

Act as an SAP Oil & Gas Downstream subject matter expert, providing functional guidance to the support team and resolving complex production incidents and recurring application issues. Analyze and design business processes that align with organizational goals.

What you'll do

• Act as an SAP Oil & Gas Downstream SME and provide functional guidance to the support team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents and recurring application issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive solutions.
• Collaborate with business, functional, technical, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams.
• Own key support decisions and coordinate issue resolution across multiple teams.
• Mentor junior resources and promote knowledge sharing.
• Drive improvements to application stability, support efficiency, and business continuity.
• Analyze and design new business processes and create documentation to guide implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases to meet process and functional requirements.
• Participate in user and task analysis to represent business needs.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream.
• Proficiency in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream, with strong hands-on experience in TSW – Trading & Scheduling Work bench, SPW – Stock Projection Work bench, TD – Bulk Transportation & Distribution, TM – Transport Management with Integration TSW, HPM – Hydrocarbon Product Management, F&A – Formula & Average Price, Oil Exchanges, TDP – Tariffs, Duties and Permits, and LCFS & RINs – Low Carbon Fuel Standard and Renewable Identification Numbers.
• Strong experience in at least one core SAP module: SAP SD or SAP MM.
• Strong SAP production/application support and troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to independently handle complex issues and work across multiple teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• 15 years full time education.
