Overview
Client-facing Solution Architect supporting ongoing and new implementations of Abacus data offerings.
What you'll do
- Partner with customers and internal teams to craft scalable, flexible, resilient cloud architectures.
- Author project architecture design documents including data flows, sequence diagrams, and system architecture.
- Define solutions primarily for CMS Interoperability, and also other data solutions as needed.
- Align business requirements and system capabilities to define technology strategy and a roadmap.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement client projects and reduce technology costs and redundancy.
- Collaborate with Product Management on client requirements that may map to existing or future product features.
- Provide mentorship and ongoing support during implementation.
What you'll need
- Passion and understanding for healthcare data and systems, including payer/provider and integration partners.
- Strong working knowledge of US healthcare data (e.g., Medical Claims, Pharmacy Claims, Membership/Enrollment, Provider and Clinical).
- Domain expertise in CMS Interoperability Mandate (9115 / 0057), including mandated APIs and required FHIR data structures.
- Ability to define solution architecture vision in architecture design documents.
- Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure, data models, databases, service orientation, programming, frameworks, standards, and technical modeling.
- Strong experience with one or more cloud vendors (AWS / Azure / GCP) and data platforms (Databricks / Snowflake) (desired).
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

- Work arrangements: Remote; standard hours 9 hours/day, 5 days/week (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST); specific hours may vary by business needs.
