Clinical Research Associate

Overview

Clinical Research Associate (CRA) roles across different seniority levels for work in Germany as part of a CRO team. The role focuses on monitoring and owning clinical study progress and ensuring protocol/GCP compliance.

What you'll do

• Monitor and own progress of clinical studies at investigative sites.
• Ensure studies are conducted, recorded, and reported per protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and applicable regulations/standards.
• Coordinate study setup and monitoring activities (e.g., identify investigators).
• Help prepare regulatory submissions.
• Conduct pre-study and initiation visits.

What you'll need

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CRA in a CRO or pharmaceutical/biotech industry (or equivalent relevant experience/competencies).
• Site management or equivalent experience in clinical research.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Availability for domestic travel including overnight stays (~50–60% travel commitment), with international travel for some senior roles.

Nice to have

• Experience with study start-up activities.
• Experience with CAR-T or FIH – phase III.
• Medical device experience.
