Overview
Develop cloud-native backend microservices for the Azurion Eye Sensing Lab, collecting and ingesting healthcare data into the SensingLab cloud for analytics and AI processing.
What you'll do
- Design backend microservices for data collection from Azurion, RIS, HIS, and PACS sources.
- Implement DICOM and HL7 data ingestion pipelines.
- Extend the OneSpace framework for SensingLab data flows.
- Build reliable, fault-tolerant, scalable data transport services.
- Deploy containerized services with Kubernetes and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Maintain API, data-flow, and deployment documentation.
What you'll need
- 4–8 years of backend or cloud software development experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Python experience for backend microservice development.
- PySpark experience for data processing at scale.
- Experience with REST APIs, inter-service communication, and data modelling.
- Experience deploying and operating containerized services with Kubernetes.
- Ability to meet cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements for medical device software.
Nice to have
- Experience with HL7, DICOM, and DICOM Web.
- SQL experience.
- AWS experience.
- Experience with OneSpace or similar healthcare frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, or message brokers.
- Healthcare data privacy and secure data handling knowledge.

- Location: Bangalore.
- Office-based teams work in person at least 3 days per week.
