Cloud Migration Engineer

Overview

Assess existing solutions and infrastructure and plan, deliver and implement application and data migration to private and public cloud, as a subject matter expert.

What you'll do

• Evaluate current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments.
• Plan and execute the migration of applications and data using scalable, high-performance solutions on private and public cloud technologies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align migration strategies with business goals and ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor migration progress and address challenges that arise during the migration process.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams and to business area problems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure and migration processes.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth within cloud migration projects.

What you'll need

• Minimum 18 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
• Experience with cloud service providers and migration tools.
• Ability to design scalable and high-performance cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting to streamline migration tasks.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance considerations in cloud environments.
• Expected to be a subject matter expert with deep knowledge and experience.
• Should have influencing and advisory skills.
