Cloud Platform Engineer

Overview

Design, build, test and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure, and act as a subject matter expert who leads the team and engages across multiple teams.

What you'll do

• Design and build cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure.
• Test and deploy cloud application solutions.
• Deploy infrastructure and platform environments.
• Create proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of cloud solutions with business requirements.
• Collaborate with and manage the team, and be responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.

What you'll need

• Must have: proficiency in Microsoft Foundry (Microsoft Azure AI Foundry).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure AI Foundry.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Ability to design scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with performance testing and optimization of cloud applications.
• Knowledge of integration techniques between cloud and on-premises systems.
