Cloud Platform Engineer, Officer

Overview

Officer-level Cloud Platform Engineer responsible for operating and enabling enterprise data platforms across Azure and AWS. The role focuses on infrastructure, automation, governance, reliability, and operational excellence rather than software development.

What you'll do

• Manage enterprise data platforms across Azure and AWS.
• Implement Terraform infrastructure modules and automated provisioning workflows.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform delivery.
• Enforce cloud security, governance, encryption, RBAC, and compliance controls.
• Provide L2/L3 incident support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Support data platform tools including Talend, Qlik, and Databricks.
• Develop runbooks, operational playbooks, and platform documentation.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering or data platform operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Bash, PowerShell, Python, and REST API automation skills.
• Experience supporting production environments with L2/L3 support.
• Knowledge of RBAC, IAM, encryption, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to have

• Financial services or regulated-environment experience.
• Experience with Snowflake, data governance, observability, or SaaS data platforms.
• Customer-facing or consulting experience.
• Awareness of AI/ML-driven automation.
